Grace Baker
Project Manager
Grace recently graduated from Brigham Young University with a BS in Applied and Computational Mathematics and a minor in Business Management.
Grace served as Co-President of her ACME Cohort, leading initiatives and coordinating outreach and recruiting events. As a teaching assistant, she mentored 60+ students in Python/SQL and as a research assistant, she led an AI/ML project analyzing complex temporal networks. While earning her degree, Grace led a nonprofit program for underserved teens, mentoring them in job skills and academics.
At BYU, she was selected for the exclusive Levinthal Fellowship, gaining weekly mentorship from VCs and founders, and completed an internship with Nazca, a Mexico City VC. There, she built workflow tools and an advanced ML model to predict energy prices in Colombia’s spot market.
Previously, Grace drove market research at BanQu, developing buyer personas and revamping strategies, and at Culligan Water, she designed logistics dashboards and managed data for 300+ SKUs and $15M in inventory.
Grace is an avid skier, traveller, and New York Times Games player, and enjoys devouring great books and food.
